Refund and Returns Policy

At Layered La, we deal in fragile, handcrafted products. As such, our refund and return policies are structured to ensure fairness while protecting against misuse.

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • Product received is damaged, or

  • Incorrect item has been delivered

Returns for any other reasons will not be accepted.


2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Proof

To initiate any return or refund request:

  • A complete unboxing video is compulsory

  • The video must:

    • Start before opening the package

    • Clearly show the sealed packaging

    • Capture the entire unboxing process without cuts

    • Clearly display the product and the issue

No video proof = No return / No refund / No exchange

This condition is non-negotiable.


3. Claim Window

  • All return or refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery

  • Requests submitted after this period will be automatically rejected


4. Return Conditions

To qualify for a return:

  • Product must be unused

  • Must be in original packaging (including all protective materials)

  • Must match the condition shown in the unboxing video


5. Return Process

  • Once your claim is approved, return instructions will be shared

  • Customers may be required to ship the product back

  • Return shipping responsibility will be decided based on case evaluation


6. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are issued only after:

    • Product is received back (if required), and

    • Inspection confirms the issue

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days

  • Refund will be made to the original payment method


7. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Cases

We do not accept returns or provide refunds for:

  • Minor variations in color, texture, or finish (due to handcrafted nature)

  • Damage caused after delivery

  • Improper handling or misuse

  • Failure to provide unboxing video

  • Delayed claims beyond 48 hours

  • Incorrect shipping details provided by customer

  • Refusal to accept COD orders


8. COD Refusal Policy

If a customer refuses a Cash on Delivery order:

  • The order will be marked as failed

  • Any advance payment will be forfeited

  • The customer may be restricted from placing future orders


9. Abuse & Fraud Protection

Layered La reserves the right to:

  • Reject any claim suspected of fraud or misuse

  • Deny returns/refunds at sole discretion

  • Take necessary action against repeated policy abuse


10. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of updated terms.
